Sign Up Information

 

Eligibility to Sign Up

Sign ups are open to all boys and girls of Rutherford County, Tennessee ages 5-14. Your child must be 5 by July 31st and can not be older than 14 by July 31st. Birth certificates are required for sign-up. If your child played with us last year, we can use the one you gave us at that time (as long as it is not a Mother's Copy Birth Certificate.  We are no longer allowed to accept those). If your child did not play last year, we will need a new copy as we do not keep birth certificate copies for more than one season in the past.

You may sign up in person or on-line.  In person sign-ups will be held on the following dates:

 

Saturday, May 19th from 9am - 5pm

Saturday, July 7th from 9am - 5pm

Saturday, July 14th from 9am - 5pm

Saturday, July 21st from 9am - 5pm

Sunday, July 22nd from 1pm - pm

 

Click here to register online.  Once you have registered, you will receive instructions about what to do next.  You will need to bring your player or cheerleader to the practice field with a copy of a birth certificate or fax one to 615-472-7958.  Your coach will let you know how to go about getting fitted for equipment and / or uniform.
 

Fee for Signing Up

Sign-Up fee for football is $85.00 ($25 late fee after July 22nd)
Sign-Up fee for cheerleading is $110.00* ($25 late fee after July 22nd)
*cheerleaders will receive $25.00 back at the end of the season when they turn in their uniform.
Fee includes use of helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey, game pants and socks for football players. Helmet, shoulder pads and pants must be returned at the end of the season. Fee includes use of uniform, socks and bloomers for cheerleaders. Uniform must be returned at the end of the season. Trophies are also provided at the end of the year – included free with sign-up fee. There are additional items required that will need to be purchased such as mouthpiece, practice pads and pants, pom-poms, cheer shoes, etc.

Equipment / Uniforms Included With Sign-Up Fee

Football

For football players, the following equipment is provided to you with your sign-up fee:

  • Helmet
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Game Jersey
  • Game Pants
  • Game Socks

Note: The helmet, shoulder pads and game pants must be returned at the end of the season. Everything else is yours to keep.

There are additional items you will need to purchase for your player that are not included in the sign-up fee:

  • Mouthpiece (cannot be clear or white)
  • Practice Jersey
  • Practice Pants
  • Pads
  • Cleats

Everything except for the cleats can be purchased at the concession stand during the dates and times listed above. Cleats can be purchased at many locations locally including Dicks Sporting Goods, Hibbett Sports, Shoe Show and others.

Cheerleading

For cheerleaders, the following is provided to you with your sign-up fee:

  • Uniform
  • Socks
  • Bloomers

Note: The uniform must be returned at the end of the season. Everything else is yours to keep. A $25 check will need to be written to the league to hold for the season until the uniform is returned.

There are items required for cheerleading that are not included with your sign-up fee:

  • Pom poms
  • Turtleneck
  • Shoes
  • T-shirt/Shorts for Practice

These items can all be purchased at the concession stand during the dates and times mentioned above (including the shoes).
